Click or tap the General tab. Select a Browse folders option to display each folder in the same window or its own window. Open File Explorer from the taskbar. Right-click a folder and select Open.

Navigate to where you want to create the new folder, and click New Folder. Type the name of your folder, and press Enter. Click the navigation bar at the top of the screen and delete any text currently in it.

This can be done by clicking on your computer, or just pulling open the Documents tab from the Start menu. Now, you should be able to see Documents and Settings. Click the View tab in File Explorer and then click the Options button or click the drop down menu and click Change folder and search options as shown below.

To view file extensions, uncheck the Hide extensions for known file types option. Click OK when done. Click the navigation bar at the top of the screen and delete any text currently in it.
