Where to get wife in skyrim

Her duty is to keep the miners safe by preventing accidents. Dravynea is also an expert alteration trainer. A Dragonborn has to complete a short quest given by Dravynea in order to unlocker her as a candidate for marriage.

So all in all a pretty easy catch. She will not become a follower during marriage so she will not join into your fights at all. But she will open a shop that can be used to buy and sell items. She is a Nord warrior who prefers melee fights. Lydia can become your housecarl if you complete the quest called Dragon Rising and purchase Breezehome. You can find her in Whiterun so remember to wear your Amulet of Mara if you are going there to ask Lydia to be your wife.

Once the wedding is over, Lydia will open her little shop and give you gold every day. Talk about a sweet allowance! She will also move into the Breezehome and make you a homecooked meal regularly. Jordis the Sword-Maiden can become your follower, housecarl and wife if you complete various quests in Solitude. The process of getting Jordis is a bit lengthy, and you will need to complete five quests in Solitude as well as a personal request from Jarl Elisif.

Not to mention that you need to buy Proudspire Manor for this one. A Dragonborn can ask for her hand in marriage only once all these crazy criteria are met.

Once she becomes your wife Jordis will open up her own shop. Keep in mind that she will ask you if you want to move into her house, but even if you agree, Jordis will wait for you at your own place. This means she will not be a good follower, like at all. Keep in mind that you need to join the Dark Brotherhood and complete a quest called the Mourning Never Comes for any of this to unfold.

Camilla Valerius is undoubtedly beautiful and she already has two suitors, Faendal and Sven, fighting for her attention. If you want to make Camilla your spouse, your Dragonborn has to complete a quest called the Golden Claw. Then you can ask Camilla to marry you before anyone else can snatch her up. There is another nice spacious bonus to this marriage as you get a room in Riverwood.

Make sure to have a woodcutter's axe on hand to chop some wood and sell it to her to complete her quest. Spouses aren't just meant to keep the house together, not always at least. Someone like Uthgerd the Unbroken will serve the Dragonborn much better in battle than at home, as she's the perfect tanky two-handed and heavy armor specialist. Uthgerd is an exiled Companion who accidentally killed someone she was meant to fight against, which goes to show she's one tough woman.

Due to her level 30 cap, she's a great choice from the first levels up until that point within the game. She pairs well with characters who prefer to fight from a distance, such as mages and archers. Beat her in a brawl and she'll have a newfound respect for the Dragonborn.

Upon joining the Companions, Ria is among the nicest ones towards the Dragonborn since she's a new arrival to the faction as well. Ria's an Imperial woman and has a decent character build.

She likes to use a steel sword from Eorlund's legendary Skyforge in combat and is a follower that will serve the player well for the first 25 levels of the game. To marry Ria, make sure to complete the entire Companions quest and specifically complete Glory of the Dead. After being promoted to the position of Harbinger, the Dragonborn can ask to marry Ria , just like most of the other Companions available. She has many purposes, which can range from being a follower to even joining the Blades, as well as being a Steward.

Njada isn't the nicest person out there. In fact, as soon as the Dragonborn enters the faction, Njada seems to have something against them. That being said, Njada will eventually warm up to the Dragonborn if they manage to prove themselves by completing the faction's main questline and become the Harbinger. Njada, much like Ria, caps at level 25, which makes her a great follower for that portion of the game.

After that, she's better off left at home to tend to a store or to cook food. Shield-users will definitely like Njada since having her around allows for players to train their Block skill. If the Dragonborn's heart beats for a mage, there's no better choice than Brelyna Maryon.

She might seem a little unprofessional with her spells, but she shows great promise as a descendant of the Telvanni household. To find her, players need to become a member of the College of Winterhold.

Bookish and naturally skilled, Brelyna caps at level 30 which makes her a very nice mage follower to have if someone prefers to be the tanky character themselves. In order to gain her favor, complete her personal quest known as Brelyna's Practice , which involves the Dragonborn helping her test a new spell. After that, she can be spoken to with the Amulet of Mara. Ysolda is a Nord trader that can be found fairly easily and early on in the game in the city of Whiterun.

Due to her occupation, she'll usually hang around the marketplace and will even ask the Dragonborn to fetch her a Mammoth tusk in return for some Speech training. After a Mammoth tusk has been given to her, Ysolda can be married in Skyrim. She's only randomly involved in other quests, although she is implicated in a small side quest about Sleeping Tree Sap. This guide will focus on how to get married in Skyrim and all the blissful bells and whistles that it brings.

Getting married in Skyrim is pretty easy, especially for the Dragonborn. You can marry more than 60 different NPCs across the land, each with a prerequisite that must be met. Once married, you and your partner will go into business together, opening up a small trade shop from wherever you call home.

All you have to do is ask for your share of gold every 24 in-game hours. You can even sell extra junk to them. Then, approach the NPC you wish to marry. You must complete their prerequisite quest before the dialogue option shows up. Propose to them and conduct the wedding ceremony. Choose one of your many estates to start your family and finally enjoy the perks of married life. So, how does the Dragonborn do all that?
